The Austrian e-scooter rules also apply in Tyrol. Slopes, weather and the management of the cycling infrastructure do not change the legal situation, but are particularly important for safe route selection.

Federal rules first, local guidance second
Power up to 600 watts, design speed up to 25 km/h, helmet requirement for those under 16 years of age and the prescribed equipment apply throughout Austria. The federal state does not replace these requirements with its own e-scooter regulations.
