Two ways to deal with a defect<\/p>

Both can help, but are based on different principles and can differ in terms of contact person, scope and duration.<\/p><\/div>

Legal guarantee<\/h3>

It is the seller’s legal liability for defects. For new movable goods, the deadline for consumers in Austria is generally two years. The decisive factor is whether the goods were defective when handed over.<\/p><\/article>

Voluntary guarantee<\/h3>

It is an additional contractual promise by the guarantor. Duration, components covered, requirements and exclusions result from the respective written guarantee conditions.<\/p><\/article><\/div>
